Day 4: Nanaimo to Pender Harbour (yes, Pender Harbour) approximately 33-miles. Though the distance is short, the ride was pretty brutal across the Strait of Georgia. When your couch ends up across the living/salon room you know the ride was rough not to mention other items. The buoy report said 3-feet seas – this apprear to be the maximum this trawler boat can endure.

Pender Harbour's population is under 3,000, with over 40% of property owners being non-resident (one of them Joni Mitchell, since the early 1970s ). Beautiful area and this appears to be the last populated spot for awhile.
